The TRUE Story of Bob

DING DONG! The doorbell rang again. Bob again raced Susie and won because she tripped on a leftover piece of three year old stinky cheese. Bob then stubbed his toe on a plant, and ran to the door. Then he screamed, for standing in the door were his three best friends, Moe, Larry, and Curly.

“MOM?!” he screamed again.

Here’s a little bit of info about his friends: Moe had plastic surgery on his ear (he also had mental difficulties), Larry had a bald head due to obsessive attention disease (that means he pulled on his hair so much to get attention, he became bald), and Curly had a unibrow.

“My mom said it’s time for “THE TALK” so I- we decided to run away to your house.”

Larry said grinning brightly. “You can live in my back- speaking of backyards; my mom got me a pet!”

“Let me guess,” Curly said, “you finally locked up Fatso and chained him up.”

“No,” Bob said “I finally chained Fatso- oh, wait….” His voice trailed off.

“And Larry,” Curly said turning on to him, “your mom is-was trying to tell you that you are going to have a new sister.”

Larry glared at him and said “Doom on you, Doom on you…”

Soon Moe and Bob joined in “Doom on you, Doom on you...” “All right!” Curly yelled, unibrow wrinkling in frustration.

“I won’t tell on you, you happy?!”

“You’s happy.” Larry said, pulling Curly into a hug.

“Do you want to see Fatso?” Bob asked breaking the moment.

“Yah!” everybody said in unison.

Soon they all ran down the hall, and stubbed their toes on the plant, and looked out the window. There -screaming his purple looking face off- was Sam.

“Let’s go ruin Sam’s day!” Moe yelled happily.

“Didn’t we already ruin his day?” Curly said wincing at the sight.

“Yeah!” Moe squeaked happily starting to open the door, but Bob stopped him.

“This is a wild beast, and we need to be equipped with certain items just in case it attacks.” He turned to Moe.

“Moe, go get silly putty, Larry get that silly string junk, and Curly, Get my secret supply of that rotten cheese.”

Curly gasped “Not the secret supply boss!”

Bob’s eyes flashed menacingly. “Oh yes, The Secret Supply.”

Curly whimpered as he left. “It’s payback time Sam.” He whispered, and then began laughing evilly. “BWA HA HA BWA HA HA HA H-”

“Uh boss,” Larry asked holding four cans of silly string. “What are you laughing at?”

“Revenge.” Chuckled Bob, “Sweet, sweet revenge.”

The Shizareen Battle

Deep in the Shizareen forest stood a tall, armored man. His name was Kyvornu, and he was a knight of Niyare. He had been sent to find an army of goblins and their leader, G’Yut. That had sounded like an easy enough task. But then he had entered the forest.

With Kyvornu were five-hundred soldiers, each of whom stood around complaining to each other about their being lost. Kyvornu trudged through the thick undergrowth, shaking his head. When they found G’Yut, the soldiers would have more than enough action. It was said that G’Yut had an army of two-thousand goblins—four times the amount of humans.

Suddenly, a low growl issued from the branches above. Kyvornu looked up to see a small dragon resting on the lowest branch.

His heart skipped a beat. Kyvornu was no fool. He knew that if there was one dragon here, there would be more nearby. He drew his sword quietly, and backed up several paces. The dragon growled again, and Kyvornu gulped. There was really only one option left—other than death, of course. He ran.

____________
G’Yut laughed as he watched five-hundred fools in armor trying to sneak past a lone baby dragon. He shook his head and stepped back a few paces to the first row of goblins. He motioned for his captain and whispered a message to him.

“The attack begins when I charge. Spread the word.”
He drew his sword silently and stepped onto the path trampled by Kyvornu and his soldiers. With a roar, he charged at the leaving soldiers. Behind him came two-thousand goblin warriors. The dragon opened its eyes and flew away in annoyance.

______________
Kyvornu spun and drew his sword at the first sound of goblins. Over the heads of his soldiers, he could see the goblins advancing quickly, shouting and roaring. The soldiers nearest the goblins immediately lifted their spears and the others drew back their bows. Kyvornu slammed down his visor and made his way through the ranks of soldiers until he stood at the front of the army, sword and shield lifted.

Heading the goblins was G’Yut himself, his sword slicing through the thick bushes. Kyvornu stepped back a pace and braced himself. The first of the goblins reached the human soldiers, and were impaled on long spears, although several were also hit by barbed arrows. G’Yut’s sword slammed into Kyvornu’s shield, and he was thrown back several feet. G’Yut stabbed the soldiers on either side of him and continued on to thrust at Kyvornu, who parried easily.

G’Yut lashed out with his foot, and knocked his foe to the ground again. He slashed through the ranks of soldiers until he made it to the back of the human army. He shook his head with pity for the weaklings, then laughed and ran deeper into the forest. Soon he stood before an enormous mountain, and entered a cave. Soon he came to an iron gate, which he walked through. On the other side were three guards, who saluted. G’Yut sat on his throne and stretched.

His warriors could take care of the enemy.

______
Kyvornu crept silently through the cave until he came to the Iron Gate. He had watched G’Yut enter, and now walked through the gate himself.

“Hey! What are you doing here?” asked the gravelly voice of one the guards. Kyvornu turned and chopped the guards head off, then did the same to the other two.

“Yes, why are you here?” asked G’Yut, standing and drawing his sword.

“I am here to kill you,” said Kyvornu.

G’Yut leapt at his enemy, and their swords clashed together loudly. The two were perfect equals. For every thrust there was a parry, for every swing a block. Not a blow made it past their defenses.

But then a distraction came. Hundreds of voices shouting. Kyvornu looked towards the doorway, his eyes wide. Those were human voices, not goblins. Somehow, despite all numbers, the humans had won.

Kyvornu pressed his advantage and hacked G’Yut’s head off. He ran out of the cave, and there stood his army, and his captain, Vidnoshe, stepped up to him.

“How did you win the battle?” asked Kyvornu.

“We each only had to kill four goblins,” said Vidnoshe. “I killed nineteen.”

Vidnoshe raised the standard, and the army cheered, and began walking home, dirty and tired, but victorious.

From Rhode Island to Mexico!

By Richie
12 Years Old

It all started in Rhode Island. Brock's dad managed a company called "Sea Food Inc." Then something horrible happened! Another company called "Mexican Food Inc." bought the whole company to sale their food. "Sea Food Inc." had 10 days to find a new place to sale their food. They checked in California. Nothing! They checked in Montana! Still nothing! They checked in every state in the whole entire U.S. and found nothing! "Looks like we might not be selling 'Sea Food Inc.'s' food anymore!" Brock's dad said. "Well, maybe you don't have to sell it in the U.S.," Brock's mom said. "Maybe...you could sell it in...Mexico!" "That's a great idea!" Brock's dad said. "I'll call there tomorrow!"

The next day, Brock's dad called Mexico and talked to a man named Mr. Lopez. "So there is a spot to sell food products down there in Mexico?" my dad asked. "That's awesome!" Brock came downstairs and yawned. His dad hanged up. "Hey! Guess what!" he said excited. "We're moving to Mexico!" And that's how it all began.

Brock could not believe it. He HATED Mexico. He thought it sounded boring. Plus, he had lots of friends and family already living in Rhode Island. Couldn't his dad get another job actually in Rhode Island?

They moved a week later from when Brock's dad called Mexico. When they got to Mexico about a day 1/2 later, they moved into an apartment. Then they decided to go visit some of the shops. Outside one shop a man was playing a guitar. The music actually sounded...cool! There were people dancing all around the place. Brock even danced a bit. So did his family. Then, there was a big fiesta where everyone danced and ate. Brock thought about this for a while when he got back to the apartment. Maybe Mexico was cool!

A week later, Brock's dad got a call from "Mexican Food Inc." After Brock's dad and the manager talked, they hung up. "Guess what, Brock!" Brock's dad said. "'Mexican Food Inc.' just called and said we could move back to Rhode Island." "That's okay," Brock said. "I think I'll stay right here in Mexico."

Music Review from the iPod

In the city of Beijing, China lay a pagoda with a fierce dragon and a lake with a lot of fish in it. In the lake, there were two endangered rainbow striped fish and one ferocious shark, that the owners didn't know about. One was a boy, and one was a girl. It was autumn and the leaves of the trees' gradually turned from the green into the brownish, orangish, yellow. They soon fell to the ground. One beautiful and chilly day, the shark decided to attack the two fish. The fish tried swim away, but shark was too fast for them. One fish defended for the other. That fish sacrificed himself for the safety of the other and was eaten whole. The shark paused for just enough for the other to escape. It called for help and the fierce flew to the rescued. it took the the shark by the fin and sat on it. The shark was choking and was forced to spit the fish out or else he would die. He could recover because of short of breath so he died. "Thank you, brave dragon for saving us," said the fish in unison. "No problem, anytime," replied the dragon. The fish then got married and lived ever after.

The Teacher who Danced

By Garrett
9 Years Old

Dedicated to Mrs. Oakley

This story is about my teacher because I love her. My teacher is a great teacher because she dances with her sutdents. It seems like she dance everywhere. She dances in the halls, to the overhead, to the office and to another teacher's room. She dances all around the tables bowing to the children to help them.

When she dances, her hair gets a little messy. It's short and black. Her eyes are dancing to the music. her feet are in so much movement. Her arms are attached to the kid. She doesn't have a tape playing. She just sings. She sings something like this, "Shall we dance.... ba dum bum dum..." Her dance is very graceful and beautiful. She dances really wonderfully.

Why do you think my teacher dances with he students? She dances with her students who are being bad in the colassroom. She says, "Don't be bad in my class or you will dance with me." This is a great way to keep the students behaving. She danced with my friend because he read a poem wrong. She danced with me because I was looking in the dictionary for a word and I couldn't find it. So I asked the teacher, "Can you help me?" She said, "Yes, but if I find it, you owe me a dance."

When my sister was in fourth grade, my teacher came into her class and asked her teacher if she had any jazz music. Her teacher said, "Yes, I have a lot of it, and I will turn it on for you." Then, my teacher danced with my sister in front of her class. She did this beacuse my sister sent my teacher an email and it said, "I dare you to dance with me." My teacher said to my sister, "Don't ever dare me to dance with you."

One day, most of the children in my class thought that my teacher had already gone to the cafeteria. So they all went to the cafeteria. But they didn't find her so they just went ahead and ate. Then, my teacher came dancing into the cafeteria. After lunch, she danced with everyone who had gone ahead to the cafeteria without waiting for her. When the students in our class make a mistake, she says, "It is alright. I forgive you." The worst that could happen is they could have to dance with her. The kids who have to dance feel embarressed, and a little frightened. But they feel very comfortable in her class.

One day, my teacher danced with a girl who did not do her homework. But later, that girl fell asleep on her desk and she picked her up and put her on the couch and let her sleep until the end of the day. Then, she woke up. She thinks her students are extraordinary, even the bad ones.

If any of the students who have been in my teacher's class grow up to be teachers, they could dance with their students. When I grow up, I might be a teacher and do the same thing. If I am a doctor or the president, I am still going to dance around the place like she does because I want to show other people how to dance and how to be kind.

THE MUSIC

by Ashlynne
8 Years Old

I thought the music romantic and a little sad. While I listened, it felt like a river flowing at a good pace. I see a beatiful woman named Marissa looking at the river while singing a luluby to her baby. Her baby was named Jeremiah and had eyes the color of the dark sky at night. The baby grew up and Marissa gets sick and says to Jeremiah, "live a long good life." Then, she died. Jeremiah almost drowned with his tears.Jeremiah lived a long good life, and never forgot the words from his mother.

Destructomono

By: Benjamin
10 Years Old

One sunny day, Jake, a scientist was experimenting chemicalsand compounds. He was just about to mix two chemicals when the speakersaid "Jake Bisely, please come to the manager's office immediately."Jake finished mixing the two chemicals and went into the manager'soffice. "Jake, I need you to go Sacramento, California to see what theproblem is with their plasma neutralizer," said the manager. " Yessir, but where are my tickets?" questioned Jake. " Here they are, andyour plane leaves at 6:00 p.m. answered the manager. "It's 4:00 p.m.now, oh no, I'd better get home, bye," said Jake. "Bye," replied themanager.
Meanwhile, while Jake and the manager were talking, Jacob,Jake's colleague put an unstable chemical with the mixed chemicalsmaking it an unstable, evil and powerful substance. The substance nowcould move freely, melt anything, and just about do anything else.Jake went home and got packing and went to the airport to board hisplane. He got on the plane just in time before the whole airport wasdemolished by the substance. Each time the substance ate something, itgot bigger. Jake got to Sacramento and checked in his hotel. He turnedon the television and saw John Mcaa and Gloria Campos of ABC newsreporting the latest news. They were reporting about the substancethat destroyed the airport of Jake's hometown, West Haven,Connecticut. The substance was now known as Destructomano. Just then, the phone rang and it was Jake's manager, Jeremy. "Were you mixingchemicals trying to make compounds before you came to my officetoday?" asked Jeremy. Why yes, I always do, why do you ask?" answeredJake. "Jake, you're fired because you unleashed the unstable chemicalnow known as Destructomano." yelled the angry Jeremy. "Now tell me,"said Jeremy beginning to calm down, "What chemicals did you mixtogether?" "Well, I mixed the chemicals, lux and plutonium togethersir," replied Jake. "Okay, now let's see, lux's weakness is fire andplutonium's weakness is also fire." said Jeremy. "We need fire!"deducted Jeremy. Then he hung up without saying "goodbye". Jake satsadly on his bed.
Meanwhile in West Haven, the manager and his company weretrying to come up with a plan. "Maybe we can lure it into a buildingon fire" suggest David, another scientist. "No, that wouldn't workbecause Destructomano knows his weakness, so the only way is to traphim," rejected Jeremy. "Maybe we can set the building he's in on fireto destroy him," said Frank, a colleague like Jacob. "No, thatwouldn't work either because Destructomano could easily escape througha window or door," said David. "Nicely said," praised Jeremy. "Well, maybe when it's demolishing a building we can surround the building inflames," suggested Max, another scientist. "I think that would work, and it's worth a shot," said Jeremy.
The very next day, they put their plan into action. Theytracked down Destructomano, and headed for the Affiliated Bank whichwas located on Broadway Rd. and 52nd St, where it was. The gotmatches, wood, and binoculars. When they got there, they sawDestructomano. He was now a fat and chubby man. They immediately wentto work. A group lit matches and through them on the ground. A groupput wood on the ground so that the fire would spread and grow faster. The last group used the binoculars to see if Destructomano had foundthem. Soon the whole bank was encircled in flames. The plan worked, but only half way. They forgot that the fire would also spread outwardas much as inward. Desrtuctomano was now feeling the heat and wasgradually melting, but the fire also spread outward so now a wholeblock have been burned to nothing. Jeremy now had to call Omi, thechief firefighter. Omi and his team of firefighters arrived shortlyafter Jeremy called. "This isn't a small fire at all, and to thinkthat I thought that this was going to be a piece of cake," confessedOmi. "You all start putting out the fire, and I'll call for backup,"he told his team of firefighters. Backup arrived shortly, and theymanaged to put the fire out, but because of the smoke, theyaccidentally flooded the place! Jeremy now had to call Clay, the bossof the whole digger company. Clay and his team arrived in less thanfive minutes. They had bulldozers with them and dug trenches so thewater could go in them, and them covered the trenches with dirt. Theday was saved! Omi's firefighters Jeremy's company, and Clay's wholediggers have saved the day.
The next day at work, there were donuts and coffee placed inJake's office. The bottle of the unstable substance was still there. The donuts had gone at to all the workers pretty fast. Soon, there wasonly one donut left. Jeremy then made an announcement on the speakers. He told everybody to save the last donut for him since e he hasn't hadone yet. Everybody heard him except one person, and his name is Jacob.Jacob was listening to his iPod. he went into Jake's office and tookthe last donut. He then went into his office and ate it. Jake wentinto Jake's office pretty happy, but walked out mighty mad. He askedeverybody to go into Jake's office. He got the finger print kit andused it on the donut box. He accidentally used it on the bottle of theunstable chemical. They matched print after print and then came toJacob's print. His print matched not only the donut box's print, butalso the print on the bottle of the unstable chemical. Just then, Jakecame in to get his stuff. "Jacob, you're fired, and Jake, you'rehired," said Jeremy. Jeremy called the police and Jacob got arrestedfor creating the substance. "Welcome back, Jake," said everybody in unison.

It made a splat sound. I looked back to see what I ran over, and I went off the track into the mud!

When we had to go home, there was mud all over my wheels! About a week later, I raced my cousin on our dirt bikes. The first time, I raced him, I won! The second, he won! The third time, we ran out of gas. We had a real fun time!

A World without Computers

A world without computers would be terrible, in many cases we could not have music downloads or do research on things for homework. We would not have any games to play on the computer. Also, we would not be able to print important douments or get them in any way. A world without computers would save electrcity but we couldn't get e-mail, we would have to either run, go by car, call by phone or write a letter. That is what the world would be if there was no computer.

The Adventures of Simba & Angel

By: Calum
11 Years Old

Well, I like cats,
And I have two cats, and I’m writing a story about them.

“Yawn,” Angel yawned. “Simba!”
“Well, I guess he’s waking up Mom and Dad.”
All of a sudden, Simba came scrambling in, and
Dad is right behind him.
Once Simba stopped, Dad caught him and put him in the garage.
Then Dad went back to bed.

Angel did a circle and laid back to go to sleep.

Simba pondered around the garage like it was his first time in there.
He wondered why he was put in the garage.

He was always put in there every morning but he may never know and that is their usual morning.

With and Without You

With you I’m happy,
Without you I’m sad,
And when you’re with her I get kind of mad.

With you I smile,
Without you I frown,
And when you’re with her I feel really down.

With you I laugh,
Without you I cry,
And when you’re with her I just want to die.

With or without you I guess I will live,
You just won’t know how much I have to give.

The Adventures of Hamster and Rabbit

Rabbit was in the country when he heard a squeaking noise. An exercise wheel was squeaking in the distance. It was Hamster in his motor wheel.

"Hop in," said Hamster. "The city is under attack by the Robots That Look Really Goofy or the RTLRG's."

"There's some now!" said Rabbit. Hamster pressed a button on a pad attached to the motor wheel.

"Quickly, get in!"said Hamster. When Rabbit did, Hamster sped off. He pressed another button and a can of juice came out. Splash went the juice shot out of the juice can onto the RTLRG's.

"Wait a second," said Rabbit. "We are in the park and the RTLRG's are just six inch tin robots or toys."

"So we didn't really have an enemy?" asked Hamster.

"Yes. You're right" said Rabbit. "But it was exciting to pretend!"

Golden Retrievers

Golden Retrievers are my favorite kind of breed. The reason I like them is because they are one of the top dogs, they are sporting dogs, and they are the friendliest breed in the world. Plus a Golden Retriever has a very long history behind it. As in, did you know Golden Retrievers were once believed to have come from Russia? But the breed we know today came from Scotland and England.

No electricity?

What would happen in a world without electricity?

For starters, There wouldn't be the web, light bulbs, AC (air conditioning,) television, refrigerators, running water, store-bought food, computers, modern medicine, cars, airplanes, boats, and, of course, telephones or radios. The human race would effectively be dumped into a midevil age with modern weapons. To sum it up, it would be a nightmare. Where am I going with this? Nowhere, but you have to admit, it's a cool idea.

Heya!! ^__^ Janeta here.Um,today,Miss.Q is making everybody write freely about what theworld would be like without an invention. Well,I'm going to write a story about what it would belike without the COMPUTER.I personally think that would stink 'cause I looooooooooooooooovethe internet........and I love to Instant Message.Hahahaha.What if there wasn't computersWhat would happen if there weren't computers? Well, I'll show you. Here we go. If there weren'tcomputers, Internet Lovers wouldn't get to go on the internet.( lol.........by the way, "lol" meansLaugh Out Loud). If there weren't computers, Interior Designers wouldn't get to see theircreation on the computer(Is that what they do?' Cause when I watch commercials, the advertising voice guy is like "Today, interior designers get big money," or they say something like that while they show people on the computer and those people are looking at designed houses or something). If there weren't computers in the world, we wouldn't be able to burn cdsor save stuff on the computer. If there weren't computers, people wouldn't have their own xangas, blogs, or websites. People wouldn't be able to send stuff to each other in another way besides the phone. They wouldn't be able to e-mail each other.*sniff sniff* yes, that wouldbe sad .Hahahaha!!!! Lol.......oops.......sorry.....back to the story....anyways if there weren't computers , uh, people wouldn't be able to instant message or make slide shows. Basicallly, I'msaying that if the world didn't have computers, there wouldn't be the technology we have today.

Living the dreary day
The month is may
Books, looks, don’t talk about me
Here is what I want to be
I wanna be a star
Rockstar that is
All I wanna do is lay back and enjoy the night
Here is my day of light
Look at me you’ll see
Me in my brand jeans called Lee
I’m no rapper but I sure can try
Let me cook toast and let it fry
You want my help
Please don’t yelp
Living the dreary day
The month is May
Talk to me and let me be free

"You couldn't so much as taunt me with your elegant way of turning me down."
Words spoken into what tended to be thin air floated along with a slight wind escaping form the box fan in the window. What a delightful setting. Boy meets girl, girl turns boy down, boy is depressed, boy likes boys. If even a cliché, this was it.Escaping heavy lips these words were spoken over his bare shoulder into rather thin air. The room was dimly lit with only that of morning light. Who could have ever believed the silence in the room? He tried to break it, multiple times but it never once worked. It was like speaking into a dead phone line; or the person that starts speaking when you dial one-to-many numbers.
'Your call cannot be completed as dialed, please hang up and try again.'
'I love you.'
Silence was never so golden. If hearts were shaped as Disney cartoons made them out to be all would be beautiful in the world. But your heart is your ugliest organ. Forgive me for being frank. The air was stale, it was slightly heated. There was no need for clothes if you weren't modest but everyone is just a bit modest, aren't they? That makes means for old worn out blue jeans and beanies that hold back too long for summer hair. Words crashed into the ground, the warning light from the plane called light never flashing on. He was speaking to no one.
Arms hugged onto his bare torso, but it wasn't the same. This tended to happen a lot, burnt out and broken down. Black hair poked out from under his black and red stripped beanie, the shatty locks twisting this way and that. Rosy lips were set out against a semi tan face and blue eyes were finally closed as he gave up once more. It was just a darn shame that Jacob had to do this to himself again.Hands reached up and took hold of the top of his heave, shoving it against the knees that had been brought to his chest. A bout of depression followed by anger.
"Jacob? Am I interrupting something?"
"Huh? What? Oh...no."
"Oh...well...Jacob."
"Yes?"
"I think I love you."
This wasn't the first time that Jacob's roommate had confessed her love for the boy. No, it was more like the fifteenth million. Jacob looked up, rolling his eyes. He was just annoyed by this. Though he always noted that Kade smelled so nice, and all her clothes fit her perfectly, and she was just so...intoxicating...to be around. Jacob just never took these petty attempts seriously.
"Again?" Jacob asked, semi-annoyed.
"Yes." Kade replied, chewing on her bottom lip.
"Why?"
"Because, I just do."

rainy day

by Zanir

Once there was a gymast who never missed a class. He also played the piano very well. One day when it was really raining hard, he stopped right in middle of the road when he heard some spirits. The spirit said ”Play!” Lima
said, "ok" and started playing. When any car passed the car started to dance.

When he got home, he decided that he will not go to piano class ever
again on a rainy day.

There once was a man named Stick Man. He had an odd personality, he was kind of clumsy, and talked a lot. One day Stick Man went up to someone’s door. He wanted to ask for directions. So he rang the door bell.
The person said he would be there in 5 minutes. So stick man waited and waited. Until finally the person opened the door. Stick Man was happy the door was opened until he noticed it was actually big foot. When Stick Man saw big foot he ran for his life!!
Big Foot followed after him. Big Foot shouted to stick man that he wouldn’t hurt him. Stick Man quickly replied “yeah right!!” as stick man was running he came across a cliff. Stick man didn’t know what to do – he did not have many options.
As Big Foot closed in on him Stick man could only think of one thing. He had to jump so he bent down, and then jumped as big foot almost grabbed his hand. Stick man closed his eyes. Did I make it? Or did I fall? He opened his eyes I made it Yahoo! Stick man made faces at big foot as he turned to go home.
Stick man continued on the road thinking there no more dangers. Or were there Bum bum bum!!

Dogs

By: Kelli

Dogs are smart and lazy
and sometimes crazy.
They’re sometimes a bum and
like to chew on your thumb.
There are a few that have
flat noses, you can even
make them do weird poses.
You can make them sit
and stay, and even play
a game. You can even give
them a funny name. They
may even hurd a bunny.
One thing you keep the same,
they’re always like a sunny day.
