One sunny day, Jake, a scientist was experimenting chemicalsand compounds. He was just about to mix two chemicals when the speakersaid "Jake Bisely, please come to the manager's office immediately."Jake finished mixing the two chemicals and went into the manager'soffice. "Jake, I need you to go Sacramento, California to see what theproblem is with their plasma neutralizer," said the manager. " Yessir, but where are my tickets?" questioned Jake. " Here they are, andyour plane leaves at 6:00 p.m. answered the manager. "It's 4:00 p.m.now, oh no, I'd better get home, bye," said Jake. "Bye," replied themanager.

Meanwhile, while Jake and the manager were talking, Jacob,Jake's colleague put an unstable chemical with the mixed chemicalsmaking it an unstable, evil and powerful substance. The substance nowcould move freely, melt anything, and just about do anything else.Jake went home and got packing and went to the airport to board hisplane. He got on the plane just in time before the whole airport wasdemolished by the substance. Each time the substance ate something, itgot bigger. Jake got to Sacramento and checked in his hotel. He turnedon the television and saw John Mcaa and Gloria Campos of ABC newsreporting the latest news. They were reporting about the substancethat destroyed the airport of Jake's hometown, West Haven,Connecticut. The substance was now known as Destructomano. Just then,the phone rang and it was Jake's manager, Jeremy. "Were you mixingchemicals trying to make compounds before you came to my officetoday?" asked Jeremy. Why yes, I always do, why do you ask?" answeredJake. "Jake, you're fired because you unleashed the unstable chemicalnow known as Destructomano." yelled the angry Jeremy. "Now tell me,"said Jeremy beginning to calm down, "What chemicals did you mixtogether?" "Well, I mixed the chemicals, lux and plutonium togethersir," replied Jake. "Okay, now let's see, lux's weakness is fire andplutonium's weakness is also fire." said Jeremy. "We need fire!"deducted Jeremy. Then he hung up without saying "goodbye". Jake satsadly on his bed.

Meanwhile in West Haven, the manager and his company weretrying to come up with a plan. "Maybe we can lure it into a buildingon fire" suggest David, another scientist. "No, that wouldn't workbecause Destructomano knows his weakness, so the only way is to traphim," rejected Jeremy. "Maybe we can set the building he's in on fireto destroy him," said Frank, a colleague like Jacob. "No, thatwouldn't work either because Destructomano could easily escape througha window or door," said David. "Nicely said," praised Jeremy. "Well,maybe when it's demolishing a building we can surround the building inflames," suggested Max, another scientist. "I think that would work,and it's worth a shot," said Jeremy.

The very next day, they put their plan into action. Theytracked down Destructomano, and headed for the Affiliated Bank whichwas located on Broadway Rd. and 52nd St, where it was. The gotmatches, wood, and binoculars. When they got there, they sawDestructomano. He was now a fat and chubby man. They immediately wentto work. A group lit matches and through them on the ground. A groupput wood on the ground so that the fire would spread and grow faster.The last group used the binoculars to see if Destructomano had foundthem. Soon the whole bank was encircled in flames. The plan worked,but only half way. They forgot that the fire would also spread outwardas much as inward. Desrtuctomano was now feeling the heat and wasgradually melting, but the fire also spread outward so now a wholeblock have been burned to nothing. Jeremy now had to call Omi, thechief firefighter. Omi and his team of firefighters arrived shortlyafter Jeremy called. "This isn't a small fire at all, and to thinkthat I thought that this was going to be a piece of cake," confessedOmi. "You all start putting out the fire, and I'll call for backup,"he told his team of firefighters. Backup arrived shortly, and theymanaged to put the fire out, but because of the smoke, theyaccidentally flooded the place! Jeremy now had to call Clay, the bossof the whole digger company. Clay and his team arrived in less thanfive minutes. They had bulldozers with them and dug trenches so thewater could go in them, and them covered the trenches with dirt. Theday was saved! Omi's firefighters Jeremy's company, and Clay's wholediggers have saved the day.

The next day at work, there were donuts and coffee placed inJake's office. The bottle of the unstable substance was still there.The donuts had gone at to all the workers pretty fast. Soon, there wasonly one donut left. Jeremy then made an announcement on the speakers.He told everybody to save the last donut for him since e he hasn't hadone yet. Everybody heard him except one person, and his name is Jacob.Jacob was listening to his iPod. he went into Jake's office and tookthe last donut. He then went into his office and ate it. Jake wentinto Jake's office pretty happy, but walked out mighty mad. He askedeverybody to go into Jake's office. He got the finger print kit andused it on the donut box. He accidentally used it on the bottle of theunstable chemical. They matched print after print and then came toJacob's print. His print matched not only the donut box's print, butalso the print on the bottle of the unstable chemical. Just then, Jakecame in to get his stuff. "Jacob, you're fired, and Jake, you'rehired," said Jeremy. Jeremy called the police and Jacob got arrestedfor creating the substance. "Welcome back, Jake," said everybody in unison.
